Description

The famous lute suite BWV997 in C minor is presented here for Flute and Guitar in Continuo. Stripped of a good part of the high melodic elements, the guitar is then able to further clarify the harmony when this best serves the purpose of the original work, while the flute dialogues with it in all its volubility.

The score is presented for Flute and Guitar with the bass figured to allow the performer to move through the work as best as possible and even to modulate the arranger's choices with full knowledge of the facts.
