Who is Mfp?

Mfp éditions is a publishing house of musical works, scores, educational publications, and poetic works, affiliated with the Society of Music Publishers and Authors (SEAM) for its musical publications and with the Francophone Agency for Numbering Book International (AFNIL) for its literary publications.

In a situation where access to partnerships with publishing houses is very difficult, our primary desire is to primarily support young authors and artists in their first publications and the dissemination of their works, by sharpening their knowledge of editorial world and their legitimacy to promote their work.

Attentive to offering the best possible remuneration for their work, we assure each of our authors a remuneration of 20% copyright on each copy sold, where the vast majority of publishing houses are between 8% and 12 %.

Aware of the environmental cost induced by editorial activity, we are committed to reducing our ecological footprint as much as possible by working with recycled, recyclable materials from sustainably managed farms :

  • Our covers are made from 100% recycled 220g cardstock.
  • For the 2025 productions, our sheets are made of 100g paper certified by FSC and PEFC. They come from companies with the European EcoLabel.
  • Since 2026, our sheets have been made from 100% recycled fibers, unbleached and without chemical treatment. They are manufactured in France and are Blue Angel certified.
  • Our binders are made of recyclable metal; we never use plastics. Our glued bindings are made using vegetable glue.

Our French printing partner, Cloître Imprimeur, certified PEFC, Bretagne RSE 26000, and labeled Print’Ethic, Imprim’Vert and Ugra Swiss, is audited every year to keep its ecological costs as low as possible.

The artistic direction of our editions is ensured by Maël Fauvy, musician, teacher, composer and writer.
