

“Classical Guitar Revelation 2021” by the magazine Guitare classique, Laura Rouy began playing guitar at the age of five alongside her father, Pascal, a jazz guitarist. She then studied at the École de Musique du Mée-sur-Seine and at the Conservatoire de Melun with Christine Martin, then Carlos Marin. She continued her musical studies at the Maurice Ravel Conservatory in the 13th arrondissement of Paris and at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris in the classes of Gabriel Bianco, Antoine Fougeray and Atanas Ourkouzounov, and obtained her Diploma of Musical Studies in June 2018.
Expanding her horizons internationally, Laura pursued an instrumental degree with a specialization in pedagogy at the Conservatory of Amsterdam in the class of Gabriel Bianco, and obtained it in June 2023 with honors Cum Laude. She is currently following a Master Performance program at the Hochschule für Musik Basel in the class of Pablo Marquez and is deepening her knowledge of contemporary music alongside Yaron Deutsch and Sarah Maria Sun. Winner of several international awards (Roland Dyens-Paris Guitar Festival, Arpoador-Carry Le Rouet, Drome de Guitare-Valence), she performs in recitals at numerous festivals, including the Festival Radio France Occitanie, the Internationales de la Guitare and the Festival Notes d’Écumes, Gitaristen Podium Amsterdam, the Paris Guitar Festival, the Festival Guitare en France, and the Roland Dyens in the Skaï Festival.
Since September 2024, she has begun her concert career with the Ensemble Orchestral Clair de Lune. Laura is a SAVAREZ artist.
