Description
The famous sonata La Vibray, composed by the virtuoso flautist Michel Blavet around 1732, is part of the French tradition of sonatas for flute and continuo, developing ornamented, expressive passages with dynamic contrasts.
The score is presented for Flute and Guitar with the bass figured to allow the performer to move through the work as best as possible and even to modulate the arranger's choices with full knowledge of the facts.
